Boston's health journey is an extraordinary one, unlike most others.

At the age of eight, he fell ill with a cold that the whole family had. Despite several visits to his pediatrician, Boston's condition persisted, and his breathing became labored, making him look pale and sickly. Eventually, his family rushed him to Insta-Care, where he was subsequently transferred to the emergency room, and then finally to Primary Children's Hospital. Upon examination, Boston's heart was found to be enlarged, and it was exerting pressure on his lungs, which appeared to be infected with pneumonia. However, it was discovered that his lungs were bleeding, and his kidneys were also failing.

Boston spent seven long days in the PICU on continuous dialysis. Eventually, after weeks of observation and tests, Boston was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease that specifically targeted his kidneys and lungs. Sadly, he was in the end stage of renal failure, with only one percent of his kidneys functioning. To keep him alive, Boston underwent a series of grueling dialysis treatments three times a week.

During his long and difficult treatments, Boston was referred to Make-A-Wish Utah. He began watching YouTube videos of other wish kids receiving their wishes and coming up with ideas for his own. He would often consult with his nurses about his thoughts and was excited to have something to look forward to and dream about.

Eventually, Boston was cleared for transplant, and he couldn't be happier. The prospect of not having to undergo dialysis treatments anymore and the ability to go to the ocean and swim were among the things he looked forward to the most. His wish was to go to the beach, surf, eat fresh fruit, and most of all, swim with sharks. Boston is excited about the idea of riding on a big airplane and is eagerly looking forward to embarking on this new and exciting chapter in his life.
